Well, I got tired from posting about Gulf Shores a few weeks ago. But, to sum up the rest of the week, we had a great time, despite bad sunburns experienced by 75% of us. We have decided to make this trip a yearly tradition.
In other news, I started my job at Target last week, and I really like it so far. I am a Guest Services Team Member, which basically means that I mainly deal with returns and exchanges, as well as the occasional disgruntled customer. I really like the position, because there is never a dull moment – there will never be a repeat situation at the service desk. In addition to working at the service desk, I will work as a cashier when ever the need arises. I already have my permanent name tag!
(NOTE: I am not an official Target spokesperson, nor do I intend to imply that I am.)
Other than that, my life post-beach has been pretty dull. I attended the FACS graduation on Monday night to congratulate the seniors and to catch up with some old friends. I can't believe it's been a year since I walked down that aisle! One nugget of good news: ten seniors out of the total 80 or so are attending Mississippi State in the fall. Go Dawgs!
Hopefully I'll update you more often now that I have more free time.
I just finished reading Catching Fire.
